Protest for Peace and Justice
Why We Take to the Streets
On Sunday, June 22, 2025, we are organizing a large demonstration in The Hague. On the eve of the NATO summit, we want to make visible that there is broad resistance to war policies, arms spending, and militarization.
Instead of investing billions in defense, we demand investments in healthcare, climate, livelihood security, housing, and international cooperation.
NATO contributes to global instability, escalates conflicts, and undermines democratic decision-making. This demonstration is a powerful statement: for peace, justice, and international solidarity.
Practical Information
The demonstration starts at 14:00 at Koekamp, on the Laan van Reagan en Gorbatsjov in The Hague. The march will pass several symbolic locations in the city and will end at the Malieveld.
